How to Request Account Deletion
Email support@cytrea.com with the subject line Cytrea Account Deletion Request.
Please include the email address associated with your Cytrea account, your name, and whether you use Cytrea as a caregiver, provider, vendor, or another account type. We may ask for additional information to verify that you are authorized to request deletion for the account.
What Data Is Deleted
After we verify your request, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your Cytrea account where deletion is technically and legally possible.
- Account profile information such as name, email address, phone number, role, city, and account settings.
- Caregiver profile information, including experience, availability, preferences, credentials listed in your profile, and hiring-related details.
- Provider profile and facility-related account information submitted through Cytrea.
- Uploaded profile photos, credential images, document images, logos, or other uploaded account materials.
- Applications, messages, saved hiring workflows, and related account activity where deletion is not restricted by legal, security, payment, or dispute requirements.
What Data May Be Retained
Some information may be retained after account deletion if necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, payment, accounting, dispute-resolution, or platform-security purposes.
- Records required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, tax, accounting, or audit obligations.
- Payment, checkout, subscription, refund, or transaction records, including information processed by Stripe, when needed for accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.
- Security logs, abuse-prevention records, fraud investigation records, and technical logs needed to protect Cytrea and its users.
- Messages, applications, or hiring records that must be retained to resolve disputes, investigate misuse, enforce terms, or comply with legal obligations.
- Backup copies that may remain temporarily in secure backups before routine deletion cycles are completed.
How Long Retained Data Is Kept
We aim to complete verified account deletion requests within 30 days, unless additional time is needed for verification, legal review, security review, or technical processing.
Backup copies are generally removed or overwritten during routine backup cycles, typically within 90 days. Records retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, payment, or dispute-resolution purposes may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, which may be up to seven years or longer if required by law or an active dispute.
After Deletion
After your account is deleted, you may lose access to your profile, applications, messages, uploaded materials, and related Cytrea account history. If you later want to use Cytrea again, you may need to create a new account and submit new profile information.
